For the seventh year, the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research (NCESR) offered a summer internship opportunity in energy sciences research to undergraduate students in the amount of up to $5,000 for the summer of 2020.
The four recipients of the 2020 summer undergraduate internship were Andrew Butler, majoring in electrical and computer engineering; Garrett Beard, majoring in computer engineering, Jackson Goddard, majoring in chemical engineering and mathematics; Theresa Guss, majoring biological systems engineering and Zoe Marzouk, majoring in mechanical and materials engineering.
Each recipient was to have prepared a poster to describe their research project but due to the coronavirus pandemic the Nebraska Summer Symposium was cancelled.
