For the sixth year, the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research (NCESR) offered a summer internship opportunity in energy sciences research to undergraduate students in the amount of up to $5,000 for the summer of 2019.
The four recipients of the 2019 summer undergraduate internship were Andrew Butler, majoring in electrical and computer engineering; Abdelrahman Elsayed, majoring in mechanical and materials engineering, Tung Nguyen, majoring in chemical engineering; and Kevin Zhao, majoring in mechanical and materials engineering..
Each recipient prepared a poster to describe the research project. The posters were presented during the Nebraska Summer Research Symposium on August 7, 2019 at the University of Nebraska City Campus Union. The symposium was sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, Graduate Studies and Office of Undergraduate Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
