For the fourth year, the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research (NCESR) offered a summer internship opportunity in energy sciences research to undergraduate students in the amount of up to $5,000 for the summer of 2017.
The four recipients of the 2017 summer undergraduate internship were Quynh Tran, majoring in biochemistry, chemistry, and math; Matthew Penne, majoring in electrical engineering; Andrew Myers, majoring in mechanical engineering; and Evan Updike, majoring in biological systems engineering.
Each recipient will prepare a poster to describe the research project. The posters will be presented during the Nebraska Summer Research Symposium on August 9, 2017 at the University of Nebraska City Campus Union. The symposium is sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, Graduate Studies and Office of Undergraduate Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
